Description

New Frontiers is a standalone strategic board game in the Race for the Galaxy family, where players build galactic empires by selecting actions, with the choosing player gaining the bonus of that action. Developments are determined during setup, allowing players to make strategic plans before play begins. Each game features a preset combination of developments, with a suggested set of 16 additional for the first game. Worlds available for acquisition have special powers and require colonists to settle, in addition to payments or conquest. Some worlds grant goods immediately, while others do so during the Produce action. Goods can be traded for credits or consumed for victory points. The game ends when one or more of four end conditions are met, and the player with the highest victory points wins. Each session provides strategic depth, planning, and complexity, perfect for strategy game enthusiasts.
